MUSHROOMHEAD To Perform At FANGORIA's 'Shock-N-Roll Spooktacular'
January 24, 2009Ohio's MUSHROOMHEAD will perform at Fangoria's Shock-N-Roll Spooktacular concert on Friday, March 6 in the Grand Ballroom of the Wyndham Chicago O'Hare at 6810 N. Mannheim Road in Rosemont, Illinois. Doors open at 9:00 p.m. Also scheduled to appear is performance artist and Fangoria "spooksmodel" Shannon Lark, with between-set sonics courtesy of DJ Brianne. The concert is to FREE to all Fangoria's Weekend Of Horrors ticket holders on a first-come, first-served basis. The Shock-N-Roll ticket includes a complimentary Friday admission to the Weekend of Horrors.
"Volume 2", the latest DVD from MUSHROOMHEAD, sold 2,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 7 on the Top Music Videos chart.
The follow-up to the band's 2005 DVD release "Volume 1", "Volume 2" (Filthy Hands/Megaforce) features two-and-a-half hours of pure mayhem, including exclusive never-before-seen content, live footage from the past three years on the group's "Savior Sorrow" tour, and music videos (including "Headbanger's Ball" 2007 "Video Of The Year" "1200", "Simple Survival", and the band's brand new video "Save Us"). Other extras include video commentary, behind-the-scenes footage and band antics.
MUSHROOMHEAD will enter the studio soon to record the follow-up to 2006's "Savior Sorrow" for a spring/summer release.
